Hello! My name is Dawn Ediger, and I'm one of the High Ability Learner (HAL) teachers for the Bellevue Public Schools. I work with the students at Bellevue, Betz, Birchcrest, Peter Sarpy, and Twin Ridge. The other teachers at the elementary level are Bethany Klone and Amanda Linder. Gina Stukenholtz works with our middle school students, and Laura Steinke is our District K-12 HAL Facilitator.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and started my teaching career in Treynor, Iowa. I received my endorsement in Talented and Gifted Education and moved to Nebraska in 2003. I also earned my Master's degree through Augustana University. This is my 19th year working with the High Ability Learners in Bellevue. I feel so fortunate to be able to teach such an amazing group of students! My husband, Luke, and I have three children: Haylie (17), Noah (15), and Brooklyn (11). They keep us very busy and active! Due to my schedule rotation between buildings, the best way to contact me is through email at [email protected]. |
